It is the process of entering patient details
in to the billing software like patient’s
demography, details of disease, diagnosis
done, name of the insurer, name of the
consulting doctor, date of admission,
period of treatment, medications given
date of discharge. This process is very
important because wrong data entry may
result in wrong medical billing and coding
and ultimately in claim denial.
